"Modern Problems" for Chevy Chase in 1981

Hi everyone! Here is finally Nightchillers Rare Music's first posted share link of some OOP music. This is the theme song for the 1981 film "Modern Problems" starring Chevy Chase. I saw this flick in the theatre with my parents when it came out. My parents always took me and my big brother to many Rated R films (although this film is PG) when I was born in the 70's right outta the gate. I just thought I'd mention that but more on it in later posts. Don't let anyone tell you this movie misses the mark, just rent it, enjoy it and have fun - it's classic! I just watched it for the 1st time in years about a month & 1/2 ago and when I heard the theme song I remembered it and that I had always liked it. I thought it might be just a studio-musician track and then found it to be by The Tubes. I have since bought 3 Tubes cds (anyone remember the cool song & video of "She's A Beauty" from 1983?) and I'm stoked on the band. Anyway, this song "Gonna Get It Next Time" was only released on a rare comp. called "Premium Gold" which is OOP and impossible to find so I ripped it from the DVD. This is one of the songs which displays the tight musicianship of the band and their creative grooves & stellar vocals - The Tubes tear it up! The link is embedded in the left pic above. Enjoy!
BE SURE TO CHECK BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER NEW RARE MUSIC POST!

Jason - Awesome! Glad to see you're posting now. I figured I'd just leave a response here, so you don't have to go over to my site to read it. I forgot to add your site on my sidebar before but I will once I update again.

With the html part, it can be kind of a pain in the ass to do the banner. I had to upload it to Photobucket, and put the link in the appropriate section of the html. That isn't hard, but I had a bitch of a time sizing it up right. Luckily there is a a clear edits button. You might have to resize it a few times. Anyway, look under Blog Header for this: @media all {
#header {
background:#710 url("Replace whatever link is here with the link to your banner") no-repeat left top;
margin:0 0 0;
padding:8px 0 0;
color:#fff;
}
Of course the different blogger templates have slightly different layouts, so it might be a bit different. You'll pretty much have to mess around with it to get what you want. For the "Requests?" post, I can't post it here because the html code can't go into the comment box, but I just copied the "Archives" part and changed it to Requests? and posted the link in there. Hope that helps some, just let me know any other stuff. I'm no expert, a lot of what I've learned has been accidental or through a gruelling, frustrating trial by error process.

Oh, and glad you liked Session 9. Responsible for the single most frightening "middle of the night in the dark" bathroom walk I've ever taken. I could've turned on a light I suppose, but logic has never been one of my strong points.

Ancient comedies pushes you to want more of that. Three years ago I was caught red handed by my girlfriend when I was placing an order of Viagra Online, on the phone after I stood up while we were watching a movie.

Great movie ! I couldn't tell you how many times I watched this on Showtime back in the early 80's. Owned a few copies ever since. The Tubes song at the end was always the thing that actually made this film stick in my mind ever since first seeing / hearing it.

Really good stuff that has lead me to explore their music ever since. I pulled the song off Video to Tape many years ago and DVD when that finally came around. Great entry back in 2007 and today as well nice to see its still up and a very interesting Blog too... Thanks !
